Sorry for there being nothing on this blog for so long, but Sally and I were in Italy for a month, and when we returned, seemed to be endlessly caught up with everything but painting. That's a bit frustrating, as we returned with images of our trip burning to get out, but had to look after a couple of existing commitments. That included painting a triptych on Lucky Bay near Esperance - a fantastic spot that I first saw in 1986 when filming for a documentary on the French exploration of Western Australia. That's now finished, and you can see it on the Latest Works page, and I am now finishing another multiple panel work inspired by kite surfers we saw when in Port Douglas a few years ago.
So, soon we'll both be starting on our Italian collection. For me, that means starting with Venice, a place that we love visiting, so hopefully it won't be too long before those works start to appear.
